The Role
Sentry’s Business Solutions division is the consulting arm of one of England’s largest farming enterprises. From our Claydon office, we provide agricultural expertise and management advice to farmers, landowners and Sentry’s own farms across the UK.
Due to continued growth and increasing demand, we are seeking either:
- An experienced Rural Business Advisor ready to manage key clients and deliver high-level consultancy, or
- An ambitious individual looking to develop into a full advisory role within a supportive, forward-thinking business.
The Role
Depending on experience, responsibilities will include:
- Managing or supporting a portfolio of farming clients
- Acting as a key point of contact for client businesses
- Identifying gaps in client services and developing new opportunities
- Delivering consultancy support across complex farming enterprises
- Working collaboratively with the wider Business Solutions team and Sentry farms
There is clear scope to increase responsibility and build your own client base over time.
Typical Responsibilities
- Grant applications
- CSS and SFI scheme support
- Budgeting and cashflow planning
- Soil, manure and nutrient planning
- Supporting Sentry Membership initiatives
- Exploring new market opportunities
- Assisting with ongoing projects across the team

Additional Information
This role involves regular travel to farms and clients across the region.
A clean and current driving licence and access to your own transport are essential.
