Sentry Lincolnshire is a progressive operation with a genuine commitment to soil health, environmental stewardship, and making the most of modern farming technology. We farm approximately 1200 hectares of combinable crops alongside 110 hectares of sugar beet, and we're looking for the right person to join the team.
The Role
A hands-on, varied position working closely alongside the Farm Manager across all aspects of the operation. You'll be part of a small, tight-knit team where your contribution genuinely matters, with real scope to take ownership of your work.
Day to day, you can expect to be involved in:
- Cultivations, drilling, spraying and combining operations
- Operating modern machinery and precision farming technology
- Daily machinery checks and maintenance to keep downtime to a minimum
- Supporting sugar beet operations throughout the season
- Upholding high standards of health, safety and environmental care
What We're Looking For:
- PA1, PA2 and PA4 qualifications
- Hands-on experience operating a 36m trailed sprayer
- Experience with Claas Lexion combines
- Proficiency in John Deere GreenStar and precision farming systems
- A solid background in arable farming operations
Beyond the technical skills, we're after someone reliable, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
